Brand Identity

A brand is the perception of your business in the eyes of the world. In other words, it’s the relationship between a business and its audience. The visual elements of brand identity, images, shapes and colour, act as the face of a brand and communicate those intangible qualities of a business, such as personality, tone and essence, as well as memories, emotions and experiences. Brand identity is what sets you apart from everyone else, and your brand identity design is what shapes your company.

Sub-Brands & Visual Communications for RCEM

Following the successful development of the RCEM 2026 conference identity, YeswayDesign was commissioned to create a suite of supporting sub-brands and visual communication assets for use across the wider organisation.

The challenge was to develop a family of distinct yet cohesive identities that could sit comfortably alongside the RCEM master brand while addressing the specific needs of different initiatives, programmes and communications.

Each sub-brand was created through a process of research, concept development and refinement, ensuring clarity, flexibility and consistency across both digital and print applications. The project also included the design of supporting visual assets, templates and communication materials to strengthen brand recognition and improve audience engagement.

The resulting suite of identities provides RCEM with a unified visual framework that supports a broad range of activities while maintaining a strong and recognisable connection to the organisation's core brand.

Brand Identity for RCEM's Flagship Conference

YeswayDesign was commissioned by The Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) to develop the visual identity for its flagship 2026 conference.

Beginning with detailed research into the emergency medicine sector, conference landscape and RCEM's strategic objectives, we created a distinctive brand identity designed to position the event as a leading voice within the profession.

The project included logo design, visual identity development, supporting sub-brands, social media assets, presentation materials and a flexible design system capable of supporting the conference across multiple years and communication channels.

The final identity combines clarity, professionalism and impact, helping RCEM communicate the energy, innovation and excellence at the heart of emergency medicine.

Brand identity for Love is Kindness charity

Our client asked us to come up with a very colourful design. Purple is her favourite colour so we made it the predominant colour. We started the concept development from researching a brand name that represented the values of the charity then created a logo that conveyed the message visually. Once our colour palette was approved, we kept it throughout every aspect of the design.
